Our hiring process
Our interview process is designed to be a conversation where we can learn about your experience and your potential to thrive within our company. While it can vary depending on the role, here are the overall steps you will have during the process:

People Interview
This first conversation is with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. The goal is to learn more about your interpersonal skills and assess your cultural fit with dLocal's values.
- Paso 2/4
Technical Interview
You'll meet with the Hiring Manager for the role. This interview focuses on your technical background and overall suitability for the team and the position's specific challenges.
- Paso 3/4
Head/VP Interview
In this stage, you will have a deeper conversation with a department Head or VP based on real-life scenarios or a business case. This enables us to gain a better understanding of your experience and potential.
- Paso 4/4
Bar Raiser Interview
A Bar Raiser—an internal stakeholder who works closely with the division you’re applying for—will meet with you. This interview ensures a high-quality fit for both cultural alignment and technical knowledge.

People Interview
Your first conversation will be with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. We focus on your communication style, motivations, and alignment with dLocal’s values and culture.
- Paso 2/4
Technical Interview
In this stage, you’ll meet with a technical expert or someone with strong functional knowledge relevant to the role to evaluate your engineering skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Paso 3/4
Team Interview
You will then meet with members of the team you may join, including the Hiring Manager. This conversation explores deeper functional fit, collaboration, ways of working, and expectations for the role.
- Paso 4/4
Head/VP Interview
Here, you’ll have a deeper conversation with a department Head or VP, often centered around real-life scenarios, strategy, and broader business context. This ensures strong alignment with the team’s goals and the company’s direction.
